MLK Day Programming
In collaboration with U-M NAACP, CSG is hosting an open-dialogue on Wednesday, January 19 at 7PM in light of MLK Day and Black History Month. This will provide students with the opportunity to discuss the legacy of MLK and other Black revolutionaries. The remote event will include interactive games and discussion. Participants will receive $10 gift cards for dinner on a first come first serve basis. Come join at this link for an engaging conversation about MLK!

If your landlord has been asking you to resign your lease or "reserve" a unit, that may go against the Early Leasing Ordinance approved by City Council. There are actions you can take to aid in our advocacy.

Calculator and IClicker Rentals
CSG is providing free iClicker and graphing calculator rentals to all students across campus. These rentals are semester-long and would be returned by the last day of classes for the fall semester. To pick up an iClicker and/or graphing calculator, please stop by the CSG Office (3rd floor of the Michigan Union) during our business hours: M-F 8:30am-5:30pm. First-come, first-serve - advance reservations are not available.

CSG Test Prep Program for LSAT, & MCAT

Register for the W'22 CSG LSAT & MCAT Prep Program!
CSG has designed a low-cost effective test prep program for students pursuing graduate and doctoral degrees. You can register here and find FAQs here.
The W'22 cohort will prepare students for the end of May to June LSAT and MCAT exams. Classes will begin at the end of February/beginning of March. Classes will be held weekday evenings. The deadline to register is Wednesday, February 23. Information Sessions will be held:

There are two ways to get in person (either physically in person or via Zoom) peer counseling support:
U-M Domestic Student Health Insurance Plan
The University of Michigan encourages all students to have health insurance. If you need insurance coverage, the U-M Domestic Student Health Insurance Plan (DSHIP) through Blue Care Network of Michigan (BCN) has generous benefits at a very reasonable cost.
Insurance cost for an individual student for the 2022 Winter Open Enrollment Period (coverage dates 1/1/22-8/23/22) is $1242. Deadline for purchase is January 31, 2022.
This insurance plan provides coverage with a wide array of benefits, including: clinic visits, prescription medication, annual vision exam,hospitalization, emergency care, limited dental benefits and more.
Annual deductible is only $100 for in-network care and $100 for out-of-network care.
In-network coverage is available throughout the U.S.
This plan is available to U-M students and their spouses, domestic partners, and dependents under the age of 26 (if the student is enrolled in the plan).
