Director of Internal Relations

Peter Tam (he/him) is a senior from Brooklyn, NY studying Political Science. Peter has been a part of CSG for the past three years, serving on the Academic Affairs and Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion Commissions, as an LSA representative on the Assembly, and as the Coalition Engagement Director in the Executive Branch. As a representative, he advocated for a $15 minimum wage for students and academic accommodations during the pandemic. Outside of CSG, Peter has previously served as an elected representative in LSA Student government, and he is currently involved in the Model United Nations at U-M as a director. Peter is passionate about amplifying the voices of students, especially those that have typically been unheard and underrepresented. As the Director of Internal Relations, he hopes to leverage his experiences to address inequalities and promote diverse voices within CSG. Peter is happy to put his student government experience to use.
