Bipasha Ray

Vice President

Bipasha is a sophomore from Andover, MA studying Biochemistry on the pre-med track, hoping to minor in Business. Bipasha started off her freshman year as the intern for the Chief Programming Officer and later became the Chief Programming Officer for CSG. She helped spearhead programs such as the graduation gown program, Winter Wonderland, Wellbeing Days, a Black History Month Speaker Event, and many more. She is passionate about expanding the outreach of existing CSG programs and launching new and innovative programs to improve student life at U of M with a focus on increasing sustainability and accessibility. Outside of CSG, Bipasha is a research assistant at an ovarian cancer lab, is involved in organizations such as MedLaunch and PhiDE, and recently trained to become an EMT.

The Central Student Government (CSG) of the University of Michigan, are comprised of students of different backgrounds who have come together to serve our fellow students and the entire University of Michigan community.

Through our work and advocacy, we seek to encourage student civic engagement, give voice to student concerns, and enhance student welfare and the Michigan experience for everyone.

​

CSG is motivated by the belief that there is no deeper expression of commitment to our school than to work to improve Michigan so that it realizes its greatest potential.
