Hi, my name is Sydney Maunu, and I am a sophomore within LSA studying Political Science and Spanish. After being part of the 2025-2026 internship cohort, I am excited to continue giving back and growing this program as the acting First Year Internship Program Director.

The Central Student Government (CSG) of the University of Michigan, are comprised of students of different backgrounds who have come together to serve our fellow students and the entire University of Michigan community.

Through our work and advocacy, we seek to encourage student civic engagement, give voice to student concerns, and enhance student welfare and the Michigan experience for everyone.

CSG is motivated by the belief that there is no deeper expression of commitment to our school than to work to improve Michigan so that it realizes its greatest potential.
