Throughout the Spring/Summer Session, the Executive Committee will be meeting every-other Monday evening at 7PM ET on Zoom–members of the Assembly are welcome to attend.

General Updates
The Veal-Korn Administration closed Applications for the Executive Committee on June 7th. We received about 50 applications, at least one applicant for every open position, and are pursuing interviews with almost every candidate. We intend to have our team selected by the end of this week, and President Veal will begin submitting nominations to Speaker Woodruff as early as next week.
Eric presented at the Regents Meeting on June 12th.
Our efforts right now are directed towards hearing interviews for our Executive Team, and nailing down our Programming and Policy plans for the Summer into Fall.
Communications Activities
Director of Communications, Emerson, has been hard at work to execute her and the Executive’s vision of the Communications Team as a bridge between CSG and the students, and hiring her Deputies and team.Â
A schedule has been created for the monthly All-Campus-Emails, which will begin in August. A Google Form to collect announcements for the ACE will be coming soon.
Comms is planning for three Instagram posts every week. If you need a graphic created for the CSG Instagram, please fill out THIS FORMÂ for the Communications Team. Please make an effort to submit the form 10 days before the desired posting date.

Speaker Series – The Programming team has already begun reaching out to potential speakers, but will continue their efforts in the coming weeks. The goal is that each speaker will correspond with one of our Administration’s policies of focus. If you have any ideas, contacts, or connections, please reach out to Max. The Regents shared their interest in supporting this new program, which may also open the door toÂ
Operation Graduation – This program is becoming an EVENT in partnership with the Career Center. Over the Spring/Summer session, the grad gowns will be sanitized, cleaned, and neatly hung on clothing racks.
The Programming team will soon be meeting with the Career Center for a Suit Up event, similar to Go Blue Goes Green, and also has an upcoming meeting with Beyond the Diag to talk about a Housing panel for the Speaker Series.
Several other ideas for Events and Programs are in the works for the Fall and Winter semesters. If you have ideas or would like to collaborate on an event, please reach out to our Chief Programming Officer, Max!
Policy Team
Our Co-Directors of Policy, Emily and Larissa, have been hard at work interviewing OVER 20 applicants for Policy Commission Leadership. Once a team is finalized, more effort will be directed towards pitching and outlining policy plans for each commission.
Emily & Larissa had a meeting with Beyond the Diag where they discussed developing a partnership to tackle issues regarding student housing on campus. They also discussed off-campus housing surveys and living guides. A follow-up meeting will take place on Wednesday of this week.
A meeting with SAPAC is coming soon, mostly for introductions.
The Policy Team is connecting with Unit Student Governments to collect their input on collaborative efforts and policies they would like to see prioritized in our administration.
Eric and Lucas are sitting-in numerous introductory meetings with relevant stakeholders and administrators on campus. Emily & Larissa are being looped-in as relationships are being established, so that the Policy Team has direct contact with the bodies essential to our policy directives.
The Policy team is always looking to collaborate with the Assembly, so please feel free to reach out to Emily and Larissa to meet or chat about a project!
