CW: Mass Shooting, Violence
Central Student Government is horrified at the events of an active shooting last night at Michigan State. We stand with our fellow students across as they mourn this tragedy, and send our support to all Spartans.
Central Student Government recognizes that many Wolverines have family members and friends at Michigan State. Even if individuals do not have personal connections to Michigan State, we recognize the severity and the reach of this incident. We grieve as a campus community with the victims of this violence and the Spartan community during this time of strife. We encourage all students to prioritize their well-being and seek out the resources available to them, including counseling and mental health services.
Due to the events at Michigan State, the Assembly meeting scheduled for today at 7:30pm is canceled. All business will be postponed until next week’s meeting. We encourage you to reach out to us if you have any questions at csg.speakers@umich.edu.
