  • Landlords asking you to renew your lease?

    • If your landlord has been asking you to renew your lease or "reserve" a unit, that may go against the Early Leasing Ordinance approved by City Council. You can report your landlord by taking the following actions:

    • Emailing housingchair@geo3550.org (no legal action will be taken by emailing the Graduate Employees’ Organization (GEO))

    • Filling out this form and filing a complaint with the City

    • Contacting Student Legal Services at 734.763.9920

    • Contacting Beyond the Diag at (734) 764-7420 or beyondthediag@umich.edu

  • Calculator and IClicker Rentals

    • CSG is providing free iClicker and graphing calculator rentals to all students across campus. These rentals are semester-long and would be returned by the last day of classes for the fall semester. To pick up an iClicker and/or graphing calculator, please stop by the CSG Office (3rd floor of the Michigan Union) during our business hours: M-F 8:30am-5:30pm. First-come, first-serve - advance reservations are not available.

  • NYTimes and Wall Street Journal Subscription

    • CSG is pleased to offer free memberships for students to The New York Times and The Wall Street Journal. They include full access to all articles through the Times and WSJ websites and mobile apps. Sign up at csg.umich.edu/subscriptions!

    • NEW! Students will now have access to the NYTimes cooking subscription!

  • Sweetland Writing Center:

    • The Sweetland Center for Writing offers free one-to-one writing support to all undergraduate and graduate students at the University of Michigan, regardless of background or discipline. Sweetland faculty and peer writing consultants meet with student writers to help with any stage of the writing process, from initial brainstorming to final revisions.   • Organization funding

    • The Student Organization Funding Committee is accepting funding applications for the Fall semester! You can find SOFC’s deadlines, resources, policies, and more at our website: csg.umich.edu/sofc

    • If you are a new organization, we offer additional funding to get your organization started through Wolverine Consulting Group (WCG). WCG also offers consulting services to any organization in areas such as social media marketing, DEI, recruiting, and more. Visit csg.umich.edu/wolverine-consulting-group for more information or to sign up for a consultation.

  • AirBus Thanksgiving Break

    • The AirBus will be available for rides to the Detroit Airport for $9 on November 22nd-23rd, and for rides to Ann Arbor from the Detroit Airport for $11 on November 28th. Check out csgairbus.com for more specific information about run times and how to sign up!
