Meera Herle

Meera is a senior from Buffalo, NY studying Public Policy with a concentration in Sustainable Development and Environmental Policy and minors in Creative Writing and Program in the Environment (PitE). Previously, she served as CSG Chief of Staff and the Senior Policy Advisor for Environmental Justice. Meera is passionate about uplifting student advocacy and supporting an affordable, accessible, and sustainable campus culture. Her priorities include providing University leadership with an accurate and nuanced sense of student opinions and including more student leaders in policy-making conversations. Outside of CSG, Meera is involved in Theta Alpha Psi pre-professional sustainability fraternity, co-founded an undergraduate law review publication on campus, and works as a research assistant at the Institute for Social Research.
