Lauren Bleyer

SMPSEC Chair

Lauren is a junior from Seattle, WA studying Psychology on the pre-law track, in addition to her minors in Public Policy and Sociology with a concentration in Law, Justice, and Social Change. Previously, she has served as CSG's Greek Life Liaison. She has helped organize a women's history month art exhibit, highlighted women owned businesses, and helped advocate for increased blue light phones along Greek Row for enhanced safety and security. She is passionate about making U of M a safe space for all students. Outside of CSG, Lauren has internship experience advocating for equal voting rights with D.C. nonprofit Public Citizen, and communication outreach for a women's self defense company, Everyday Armor. On campus, she is a Peer Educator in Panhellenic's Sexual Violence Education and Empowerment organization, as well as serving as the Director of Scholarship within her sorority, Kappa Delta.
